Brown off to a fast start at Fullerton

Former Diamond Bar baseball star Gary Brown is off to a solid start at Cal State Fullerton. Brown, a speedster for the Brahmas, is hitting just .240, but has an on-base percentage of .387 and has stolen five bases in six attempts during the first two weeks of the season. He also has five RBIs. The Titans, who are seeking to advance to the College World Series for the sixth time in the eight years this season, are just 4-4, but scored a 7-1 victory over No. 3 UCLA Tuesday night.
