It doesn't happen often in the desert as the Angels and Rangers are in an honest to goodness rain delay. Not sure is this one will continue, even though the rain appears to be slowing down. Tempe Diablo Stadium doesn't have a tarp and only the mound and home-plate area are covered. Manager Mike Scioscia is checking out the condition of the infield with one of the umpires.
