Angels sign 5 to contracts

| | Comments (0) |

Infielder Matt Brown, catcher Ryan Budde, right-hander Jason Bulger, outfielder Terry Evans and right-hander Jeff Kennard all came to contract terms today, the Angels just announced. The move is a formality as all six are under control by the team and not yet eligible for salary arbitration. If any happen to make the big-league roster, they will earn somewhere near the league minimum. Players with big-league experience usually get a slight bump according to service time. The moves leave 14 players on the 40-man roster who still have not been signed for the 2008 season.
