Angels yawn at M's message

The Mariners beat the Angels 6-5 in a Cactus League game today and tried to make it seem like the contest had a regular-season feel. Manager Mike Scioscia's reaction: he could hardly care less. Looks like Mariners vs. Angels for the AL West title should be very interesting.

As for Mariners pitcher Erik Bedard, who granted the media only four questions and then only answered three of them in barely a minute: Get over yourself.

ProjectedAngels Opening Day starter John Lackey, who had been dealing with a sore elbow, is expected to make his spring debut Monday.

This is really sad actually. The Mariners beat the Angels by one run. They played all their regulars including their pitchers. The Angels played their regulars then brought in the kids and used all minor league pitchers. And still almost won.

If anything I think the Angels are the ones who sent the message. The Mariners stink. I hope the Mariners are decimated by injuries this season like the A's were last year. I despise that team.
