Kendrick gets an SI profile

The cover photo screams NCAA Tournament, but the next edition of Sports Illustrated, scheduled to hit newsstands this week, gives a decent shout out to the Angels' Howie Kendrick as well. An inside feature details how Kendrick went from an unknown who couldn't make a junior college team, into one of the best pure hitters in baseball. It's no wonder the guy was so desired on the trade market this offseason. And it's no wonder the Angels were reluctant to let him go.
