Lackey moving in right direction

| | Comments (1) |

John Lackey, who is on the disabled list with a a strained right triceps, was examined by Dr. Lewis Yocum on Friday and it was determined there were “no new findings.” Lackey was cleared to progress with his throwing program, which means he could soon be advancing from flat ground to a mound.

The right-hander still is expected to go on a rehab assignment before he returns from the DL.

Thank God Lackey is doing better. I don't think I take many games with Moseley starting if we're going to watch crap like tonight. What a horrible game. Why can't the Angels hit garbage pitchers that everyone else kills? This Gabbard fool is horrible and he's shutting the Angels out. Mickey Hatcher has some splaining to do. This is shameful for a home opener.

And why is Robb Quinlan playing instead of Casey? What a joke. It's the home opener. Put the best team on the field.
