Moseley fills Angels' void

| | Comments (0) |

Dustin Moseley will get the start Wednesday against the Yankees in the finale of the three-game series. The opening for Moseley came when Jered Weaver was scratched for the second time in a week. Weaver suffered cuts on two fingers after reaching under the dugout bench last weekend at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago. He was scratched from a start over the weekend and then scratched again from a start Tuesday.

Ervin Santana was moved up a day to start Tuesday and Moseley will now fill the Wednesday spot. Moseley got the call the last time Weaver couldn't start and he didn't fare well. He gave up four runs on six hits in just 1 1/3 innings against the White Sox on Friday. Moseley is 1-4 this season.
