Dodgers and Angels trades upon further review

Columnist Mark Whicker takes a look at Dodgers, Angels trades:

There was no heir apparent at second base, although they quickly plucked Josh Rutledge from Colorado. They needed a starting pitcher and they got Heaney, who eases the absence of Tyler Skaggs.

But when manager Mike Scioscia was asked about his team’s MVPs last September, he cited Kendrick and shortstop Erick Aybar. And, yeah, he knows who Mike Trout is.
