The Angels as of 6:30 p.m. Sunday were still in a rain delay for their game against the Boston Red Sox; it was slated to begin at 5. It is their first rain delay at Angel Stadium  since April 24, 2011, also against the Red Sox.

The last time the Angels had a game rained out at home was on June 16, 1995, just more than 20 years ago. That game was supposed to be against the Chicago White Sox.
