Temptress most foul, thy name is ... STARBUCKS
We have a constant supply of whole-bean Starbucks coffee in the office, thanks to the lovely Carol Rock of ValleyNews.com, whose daughter happens to be in management at the world's largest coffee-pushing company, and for that I am thankful.
But somebody made off with our bag, and we're coffee-less. I brought my new French-press coffee mug (thanks, Ilene!!), filled with coffee and ready to brew, but I left it in the car. Gotta ... go ... get ... coffee ... but ... too ... slow ... brain ...
Anyway, I got in the line yesterday at the Daily News' friendly neighborhood Starbucks, and after it DIDN'T MOVE AT ALL for about 2 minutes, I couldn't take it anymore (there were seven people ahead of me) ... I JUST CAN'T TAKE IT, STARBUCKS -- GIVE ME WHAT WANT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
