The food fairy does NOTHING for me
When the Cousins Subs shop closed in the mini-mall near Van Nuys and Burbank boulevards in Van Nuys, I wished, hoped and prayed for Baja Fresh -- or any kind of fresh-Mexican food outlet. We've already got a Starbucks -- one of only a few not on Ventura Boulevard in the East Valley -- and just needed the proper "fast casual" (as it's called in the trade) restaurant to complete me in a "Jerry Maguire"-ish way.
Well, we got Panda Express. Nothing like warmed-over Chinese food to put a damper on my completeness. There's still room, Baja Fresh, for you in my heart and my tummy, so grow a pair and open a place in Van Nuys already! (I welcome all other fresh-Mex chains to fill the gap in my heart).
