If you were planning to attend Saturday’s open house for the new Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX, you better have your tickets already.
The airport has already given away 12,000 free tickets — which officials are calling “boarding passes” to see the new, not-yet completed, $1.5 billion facility. No more tickets are available.
It’ll be interesting to see how many people actually attend. Folks could register for as many as six tickets, and it’s possible some may have secured tickets they don’t plan to use. Angelenos, of course, are pretty fickle. And Saturday will be another warm, sunny day.
Officials say the gleaming new terminal should open at some point in August or September.
