There is flooding this morning at United Airlines Terminal 7 at Los Angeles International Airport, according to the Los Angeles World Airports Police.
It happened at about 9:05 a.m., airport spokesman Marshall Lowe said. Lowe said the leak was in the connector between United’s Terminal 7 and Terminal 8.
“It’s a chilled water leak,” Lowe said a little after 10 a.m. “Plumbers have stopped the water flow and custodians have started cleanup.”
If this sounds familiar, it might be because a construction mishap in March also caused some water trouble. That time, United’s terminal was left without safe drinking water for several hours.
Los Angeles World Airports police Tweeted out a picture of the water on Wednesday morning. But they erased the Tweet just after it was embedded here on L.A. Airspace. So we no longer have a picture of the water here on the site.
