Just got a preview copy of the new book from the heiress apparent to Anna Nicole's rank among those who are famous for no particular reason. Carmen Electra has her name above the title on "How To Be Sexy," coming out in May.
Many a male reader would be inclined to flip right to the seventh chapter, "The Art of Seduction," either as an instruction to his own significant other or as a heads-up to better get it when he's being hooked and reeled in.
But I was more interested in Chapter 2, "Confidence."
Keep in mind that this is a draft of the book and subject to revision, but here's the essence of Carmen:

"I wasn't always sure of myself. In fact, I was painfully shy as a kid. I'm talking really shy -- the kind of shy where I couldn't even get up in front of the class to read a book report. Okay, maybe part of the problem was -- and is -- I hate having to read books. Even now, I will never read a novel. The only thing I will read is a script or a self-help book."

Not that Carmen the self-help author has asked me for advice, but if she did, I would suggest she read a book. Or two, or lots more, even. When she no longer has the body shown on page 12, the unlined complexion on page 30 or the mane on page 71, an ability to converse about books is a plus. Maybe even sexy.
