Zach Galifianakis on SNL

Even just hearing "Zach Galifianakis is going to be on Saturday Night Live' got people to say 'oh, I need to watch that.'

He brought many laugh out loud moments to the show and a few uncomfortable ones (no surprise). There was the sketch about the kissing family where he - as a priest - completely made out with Fred Armisen; the 'Zack Has Been in Show Business for 30 years' sketch where he appears in at least a half dozen shows over the years, but he is usually in the background waving at the camera (like behind Brian Williams at NBC News) or oddly part of the scene, including standing behind Anthony Anderson taking cel phone pictures of him while he and Jeremy Sisto talk to a witness in Law & Order.

He also played a strange 'disco flute' player - dressed in an ill-fitting jumpsuit in the 'What Up With That?' sketch and he and Kristin Wiig played a couple that asks the hotel bellhop way too many questions about of the hotel's bidet.

In something that he would only do, he shaved off his trademark beard during the show but off camera then appeared in a sketch playing a Liberace-type beauty contest judge, then reappeared in the closing goodbye part of the show - with a fake beard - just to confuse people.
