Barney's Hanger sale

Santa Monica is not that far to go when you consider it's for the annual Barney's Hangar sale (named because it's held in an airplane hangar!)

The deals are renown, according to a colleague who said she picked up a cashmere sweater for $30. There are discounts on tops, bottoms, shoes, bags, lingerie, accessories--you name it. Every day the discount increases slightly. But if you wait somebody else may snatch YOUR find. So it's basically a retail catch-22!

It's at Barker Hangar at 3021 Airport Avenue in Santa Monica (the southeast side of the airport). Sale starts the Aug 10 at 10 am and goes thru Aug 20. Weekend hours 10 to 7 and Monday thru Friday 10 to 8.

Beware prudes: there are no dressing rooms so be prepared to strip between the aisles!
