Borders v. Barnes & Noble v. online

Read a story from the Detroit Free Press that Borders has 20 million members that reach one in five households in the whole friggin' country! I'm really curious if this program makes sense. Tied up with a daily story right now, but check back this afternoon for a breakdown of the cost versus benefit of the frequent customer programs offered at Borders and its rival Barnes & Noble. Doesn't buying online still cost the least?
