Burbank Italian Subs

Thanks to a colleague, I now know of at least one spot for a Lincoln Lunch in Burbank: Giamela's on Magnolia just east of Victory in a little brick buliding with a patio out front. Their small subs are $4 including tax and the big ones are $5. Sodas just $.60 including tax, so it's totally possible to eat with just a fiver.

My friend had a large sammy with salami and pastrami. Came with chopped tomatoes, onions and pickles on a soft sesame loaf and was *very* tasty, she reports. And she wasn't even that hungry! It was so big that she had leftovers for dinner.
