Plummers worth the price?

OrangeTrunk.jpg
I'm new to Plummers and was amazed at the furniture prices in their weekend newspaper ad. A friend warned me about quality so I went to check out the Woodland Hills store for myself. I wasn't impressed with the dressers because the drawers seemed stiff or sticky on many. But the beds I would consider because the wood veneer is pretty convincing, especially on the medium-dark woods. A few of the headboards were a bit loose, like on the Sterling Park and Naia models, but it makes sense that they have some flexibility.

I really liked the accent pieces, especially the Zen counter and barstool for $200. The Symon Sideboard , above, adds fiery color for $188. The Luna Chair, below, is not a deal at $350, but it is surprisingly comfortable and stylish.
