Mother of all garage sales
A quick pitch for a story I wrote that ran on the front page of today's Daily News. It starts like this:
Imagine a garage sale on steroids. That's what Kristin Nelson has built her twice-yearly kids consignment sale into. Most of the mothers I talked to while reporting the story said they had found great bargains at the LA Kids Consignment Sale and that the quality was fairly high.
Visit the sale at 7963 Van Nuys Blvd. (on the west side of the street with a very small entrance so check the map). Hours Fri and Sat 9 to 5. Sun 9 to 2. Cash only. Free admission and valet parking.
