What is a Lincoln Lunch?

lincolnlunchcartoon.jpg
Ever wonder if it's possible to get lunch in the Valley for five bucks? You have to look closely, but there is a way, my friend. I call my five dollar meals a Lincoln Lunch because ol' prez Abe's beard, arched brows and resolute lips grace the five dollar bill. My friend Patrick, the editorial cartoonist at the Daily News, drew this awesome picture after we found a Lincoln Lunch at Boulevard Burgers in Woodland Hills (21718 Ventura Blvd). Check out more of his drawings here.

I have eaten at this burger location and its very good. I love the fact that its charbroiled and not grilled in its fat. Its very very good. They put lettuce, pickle, tomato, whatever and their fries are delicious. Its great.
