Portrait of a 40-year marriage
Burbank photographer Harvey Branman is taking free artistic portraits of couples that have been together for 40 or more years. He plans to turn the shots into a book with the couple's philosophies of why they’ve stayed married while so many others have not.
If you have been married 40 plus years, Harvey is offering a free portrait session (normally $100) and one 8 x 10 print (normally $75 to $100). If you want more prints you have to pay for them. Prints run from $35 for four wallet size photos to $1,850 for a mounted 40" x 50" portrait. By participating you agree to sign a release that your photo can be used in the book.
Harvey may be able to squeeze you in before V-day, though I don't know if the print will be ready for the holiday. Call to make sure. Check out his other family portraits.
