Trader Joe's coming soon

traderjoes.jpgA new Trader Joe'sis opening Feb 29, 2008 in Woodland Hills - where Long's Drugs on Ventura Blvd. between Canoga Ave and De Soto Ave used to be. An employee is taking job applications in the front space, which smells terrible because they are laying the floor in the back. The store is going to occupy the back part of the building and will be a little bigger than the store in Encino. Get ready for more traffic on that stretch of Ventura and stay tuned for opening specials!

My favorite bargain at Trader Joe's is the $3 canvas bags. Great for hauling groceries, beach stuff, packing for a trip, or carrying anything else. Plus every time you use your own bags or reuse paper bags and spend $25 at TJ's you are entered into a grocery giveaway. Sadly, I'm still waiting to win. I find butter, organic milk, yogurt, and a few other items are almost always cheaper than the traditional supermarkets. But watch out for their juice prices and produce. It can add up.

I HOPE TRADER JOES MAKES "RIPOFF STORE" WHOLE FOODS MARKET GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!!!!!!
THERE IS NO COMPARISON TJ'S IS 100% BETTER.

Sweet! This neighborhood hasn't been the same since TJ moved out of the Topanga Mall. Fallbrook is too far ...

Always remember -- TJs has free samples every day.

Have a bottle of two-buck chuck!!!
