Urban shopping tour

UrbanShopping.jpg Some people think of everything. Christine Silvestri thought of the solution to when shopping is overwhelming. Too many stores to choose from! She leads shopping tours of LA and Pasadena, according to a story in Tuesday's LA.com. Silvestri points her clients to a mix of boutiques, bargain basements, and high end stores that have the best merchandise, even if they don't look appealing from the outside. She tailors groups for girlfriends, men looking to buy something for their sweetie, and mother-daughter duos.

Silvestri has a neat trick when the group is starting to stray. "All I have to do is yell 'shoes' really loud and it brings everyone to focus on me in no time at all," she said. She charges $36 to $54 per person depending on the lunch spot. Visit her Web site to make a reservation or call (213) 683-9715.
