Indie jewelry sale
Came across jewelry maker Maya Brenner thru Jen's list and I really like her stuff. It's pricey but not out of control, especially if you find a special piece that will last. Get 25% off until Feb 29 when you enter code VDAY at checkout.
Prices BEFORE the discount: A long necklace with a yellow stone, a small medallion and a few other trinkets is $120. A 14k gold filigree medallion on an 18-inch chain is $230. A pair of curved fan earrings with fine gold filigree work, above, is $130. Also available in sterling silver for $120. A pair of black onyx hoops are $85. A pretty charm bracelet with cognac quartz, iolite, rose gold bead and a Santorini coin, below, is $130. ![]()
The checkout form is a bit clunky. Shipping is $12.
I am a full believer in buying yourself jewelry if your sweetie does not know your taste. (Sorry Hubby, that's you.) You could also send him/her a link to the coveted item with an unequivocal message like 'I'd love to get this for Valentine's Day!' Beat around the bush and you risk receiving a toaster. Besides, if you don't tell your sweetie what you want/need, how will they know? Life's too short to play guessing games.
More jewelry recs tomorrow. Let me know your favorite place to buy baubles by leaving a comment!
