$1 make up

CandyShopLipGloss.jpgMan oh man oh man. All the makeup at e.l.f. - all of it - is a single dollar. Eyeliner, eye shadow, lipstick, blush, powder, tint, concealer, nail polish, nail files, brushes, brow combs...shall I continue? Today get half off your second item with coupon code EGPRESBC. After that expires use coupon code EGPDAYAC to get half off your third item thru March 1.

Why is the makeup so cheap? The site says "...it's our goal to enable every woman to look and feel her personal best through the perfect blend of both the inner and outer person. With that goal in mind, e.l.f. cosmetics was born - a line of simple, luxurious, problem-solution tools that allow you to showcase and believe in your unique, personal beauty...Every woman should have the opportunity to participate in innovation, without sacrificing her budget." Whatever. This could be a great place to put together gift bags for parties, bridesmaids, and to experiment. I'd like to test out their liquid eyeliner (I can never get my black pencil to get as close to my lashes as I want). A smudge brush looks more effective than my usual blending tool - my fingers and their candy shop lip gloss tins also look fun.

You may recognize the e.l.f line (stands for eyes, lips, face) because 150 Target stores sell it. Find out if e.l.f. products are sold near you. The site also has a fun list of beauty secrets.

BONUS: If you spend $20 or more you can get a free subscription to Working Mother, worth $10.

Caveats: The company does not accept returns because the makeup is so cheap.

Thanks, Jen!
