Men's threads that impress

Looking for a sharp suit or leather jacket? Head to Armani Wells in Studio City if you want discount designer threads and don't mind if someone else has worn them. The clothes at Armani Wells are used, often very gently by television and movie actors. Owner Claudia Wells (of "Back to the Future" fame) buys many items from the nearby studios.

I spotted a beautiful black leather Kenneth Cole jacket for $225 (wished Hubby was there to try it on) and a Columbo light brown cashmere jacket for $450. A gray wool Armani turtleneck was $150. An over-sized sheepskin jacket (actually polyester) with a heavy liner was $150. Many suit coats were in the $400s and $500s with brand names like Hugo Boss and Armani. Some items were not marked, giving me the feeling there is room for negotiation.

The store has some shoes, jeans, and many button down shirts and ties. All sales are final. Here's a link to an expired coupon. Could be worth asking if they will still honor it.
