Roses + choc + vase = $40
Get a special deal at ProFlowers.com when you click the "Heard about us on radio or TV?" button at the top right of the screen. Enter the password "ellen" and you get an offer for one dozen red roses in a ruby vase and a box of chocolates for $40. Not bad.
Other deals with the ellen password include two dozen roses of various colors, plus vase and chocolates, for $40. A boquet of 20 tulips is $30. Delivery fees will getcha, though. For the order I tested it was $10 delivery plus and extra $10 to be delivered on V-day. With taxes and a gas surcharge the $40 order came to $64. That rivals the Costco deal on roses that I blogged about recently.
