60 day shoe sale

ShoesShoesShoes.jpgI blogged about this sale last month and finally got the chance to stop in. Ladies, 60 Day Shoe Sale is the real deal. Hundreds of pairs of shoes all 80% off. Of course the "retail" prices are high to start. There are many pumps, a good selection of boots, and a few flats. Brands included Boutique, Delman, hype, Kenneth Cole, Isaac Mizrahi, Charles David, Martinez Valero, and Diego di Luca. Prices BEFORE the 80% discount ranged from the low $100s to the high $300s.

I saw a dark brown two-inch Tahari pump in with a rounded toe and accent stitching for $22 (orig $110). They were comfortable but more formal than I dress at work. I would have bought a pair of moss green suede flats by Delman for $58 (orig $290) but they were too narrow in the toes. I pair of stylish Kenneth Cole dark brown leather calf-length boots were $50 (orig $250) but none in my size. Drat!

Caveats: All sales are final. No returns, refunds or exchanges. Store closes March 31, 2008. Visit them at 17257 Ventura Blvd. on the northeast corner of Ventura Blvd. and Louise in Encino. Hours are 10 to 6 everyday except Friday, when they close early. Closed Saturday for Shabbas.
