How long does makeup last?
The latest issue of Shop Smart magazine, a fun, informative glossy put out by the folks at Consumer Reports, puts expiration dates on everything from lipstick to sunscreen. Test your know-how, then run to the bathroom and toss your festering lip gloss like I did.
How long should you keep the following products? Answers are either A, between two weeks and four months, B, six months to a year or C, one year plus.
1. Blush
2. Eyeliner

Why toss it at all? Makeup can become contaminated with bacteria or may become ineffective after a time.

Comments
I hardly wear make up but would like to know how long to keep it, especially lipsticks.
