Martinis to make you happy
Reader Dee writes in that the Daily Grill in Universal City is having a $5 martini special on Tuesdays only. Called to check and the manager confirmed the drink special is from 4 to 7 pm Tuesdays. It lasts a few more weeks. $5 is a great price for a martini, which usually start at $10.
The special is only at the Universal City location. I stopped in at the Daily Grill in Studio City and the bartender said their martinis were $7 during happy hour but if you schmooze him a tad I bet he would make you a $5 well drink.
