Macy's family and friends discount
Get 20% off at almost everything at Macy's starting next week, April 30, through May 5. To get the deal call Loren Bennett at (818) 883-7211, hit 1, then extension 2941. She is a personal shopper at the Macy's in the Topanga mall and you can make an appointment with her to shop or tell her you prefer to shop alone and just want to pick up the coupon. She can't email it, unfortunately.
Loren says there are many perks if you shop with her, such as private dressing rooms and private check out. She will pull stuff off the rack before you even get to the store and you can email her requests. Her services are free and there is no obligation to buy. But again, if you prefer to shop alone that's okay, she said.
Caveats: the discount excludes cosmetics, fragrances and everyday values (they have prices that end in .98). I asked if specific brands were excluded and she said no. Thanks, Jen!

Macy's employees are also given a stack of the discount cards to hand out to friends and family. Call anyone you may know and they may still have a few. I just got mine 3 days ago from a supervisor in the credit call center and it comes with an extra card for me to give away to a friend.

Just as the prior poster mentioned, I also received the card with two savings passes.
This Friends and Family Savings Pass is enhanced over others I have seen in recent months, as it can be used at macys.com and macysweddingchannel.com. Also, I noticed from reading the fine print, that very few items have been excluded from this promotion. Usually, Macy's will exclude many name brands as well as some of their private label (give me a break on the reason for excluding your own private label!).
Enter promo code MACYSFF in the box labeled HAVE A PROMO CODE? during checkout. If you spend more than $100 and enter the MACYSFF promo code, shipping is free.
Here are more details about the coupon:
20% off on regular, sale and clearance women's, men's, and kids' apparel and accessories; fine, bridge and fashion jewelry. Plus: bed and bath, housewares, china, crystal, silver, frames and luggage.
10% off regular, sale and clearance electrics and electronics, furniture, mattresses and area rugs.
Some of the major exclusions:
Cosmetics and fragrances, and Tempurpedic. Purchases at macys.com also exclude Coach and toys. Not valid on Everyday Values, Macy's Gift Cards and Gift Certificates, special orders, previous purchases, restaurants (does Macy's have any restaurants in southern California?), or nonmerchandise-related services, on purchases from Gift Registry kiosks, maternity, fine jewelry trunk shows, gift wrap or leased departments, or as payment on credit accounts.
