Morton's Steakhouse twofer $99

MortonsDeal.jpgBack by popular demand...At first blush this does not sound like a bargain: dinner for two for $99? But my well heeled colleague tells me at a "prime steakhouse, this is a good deal." Each person gets a single cut steak filet, a choice of jumbo shrimp, crab cakes or broiled scallops, a Cesar or Morton's salad, hot chocolate cake or key lime pie, and to share a potato and vegetable.

It is available through June 30, 2008 when you share your name, address and email here. They e-mail you a certificate, which you need to get the special meal. It is not on the menu. Participating locations include restaurants in Woodland Hills, Burbank, and downtown LA. Scroll down on the above link to check other regions and states.

Caveats: does not include tax or tip. Thanks, Greg!

You do not need the coupon, all you need to do is ask for the special $99.00 dinner for 2.

Also, even though it states it is only good at Woodland Hills, Burbank, and downtown LA in Los Angeles, all Morton's will honor the special.

I just had it at the Beverly Hills location and I called them and they said they do have the special even though they don't promote it!

The newspaper article of Monday heavily implied it was a free dinner for two worth $99.00 if we signed up our e-mail address

If you sign up you get a certificate that lets you order the $99 meal. It is not usually on the menu. Sign up by clicking on the link in the blog post about Morton's. If you cannot find the Morton's post try using the search box on the left. Enter a keyword and all the blog posts with that word will come up. Hope that helps. ~Julia

Had dinner at the Woodland Hills Morton's with my hubby and it was such a GREAT meal. They don't skimp out on the portions either! We didn't need the coupon, we just asked our waitress before we ordered and we tipped big, they are super nice there!

Always enjoy eating at Morton's. Have been with the AFI for many years and will miss the Classic Film Series. We are also, VIP members. Know Mr. Bernstein well.
