Drugstore senior discounts

DrugstorePerson.jpgThere are many places where senior citizens get automatic discounts when they join free loyalty programs.

Longs Drugs has a senior advantage card that gives 10% off Long's branded products, Hallmark products, and Long's photo processing everyday. The big caveat with their card is that the items must be regular priced. Sale items are not eligible for the discount, which means the sale price might be lower than what the 10% would give you. Must be 55 or older to qualify. Have questions? Call Long's customer service number at 800-865-6647.

Rite Aid gives 10% off Rite Aid brand products everyday, 10% off certain items every Tuesday and 10% off cash prescriptions with the living more card. Must be 60 or older to join. Sign up in stores or online. Note, the 10% off does not apply to sale items, prescriptions, prescription co-payments, cigarettes, alcohol, gift certificates, lottery tickets, licenses, money orders, money transfers, prepaid cards, stamps and other mailing services, and in-store clinics.

CVS and Walgreens never got back to me, unfortunately. For more senior deals check the Web site Senior Discounts. Thanks, Richard!

Comments

thanks for the tip, I shop at Long's and never knew about this program or that seniors are anyone over 55! We're looking younger every day.
