Brooks Brothers shoe sale
Select pairs of women's shoes are up to 60% off at Brooks Brothers online this week. Not that I want to tempt you to blow your budget during these trying economic times, but if you have room to splurge check out the sale.
The trouser boot,, above, is a mid-length leather shoe made in Italy. It is $179 (orig $440). Comes in brown or burgundy and with the boot's 4-inch heel you will tower over everyone. I can neither afford these fabulous boots nor could I walk in them! But I can dream. 
The satin and velvet D'Orsay pump is fancy schmancy and packs a stylistic punch. Not everyone can pull this conspicuous pair off. Walk into a room with these babes on your feet and you will get noticed (in a good way). The 3.5-inch D'Orsay heels are $115 (orig $200). Browse all the sale pairs.
