Even bridesmaids are trying to save a buck and get cheaper dresses, a short story from Fortune says. So where can you find a decent bridesmaid dress under $150?
JCPenney has about 15 dresses, many of which are on super sale right now. A classic long black V-neck with satiny material across the waist, above, is $90 (orig $150. A strapless light blue dress has a forgiving cut across the top and long skirt, for $80 (orig $150).
Windsor has many, many dresses in the $70 to $100 category. Some are intended for prom but plenty of others would suit a wedding, especially the long ones. A long purple dress with an empire waist and ruched bust is $90.
Bridal Sassique, which is online only, sells directly to the public so prices are closer to wholesale. A mid-length strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and interlocked satin waist band is $70.
Macy's has as ton of dress online, but none scream bridesmaid for under $150. Most of the bridesmaid dresses at J.Crew were well above $150, sadly. A slik chiffon dress with a V-neck and flowy skirt comes in six colors and is $165. Browse all J.Crew's bridesmaid dresses.
