Velvet warehouse sale
Velvet, the girly but sophisticated line of clothing you have seen at Anthropologie, is having a warehouse sale today from 8 to 6 and Saturday May 10 from 9 to 1. I'm told that prices will be at about wholesale. To get a feel for what type of clothes the label makes, a gray stretchy top with a side sash is $78 at Anthopologie.
The sale is at 3961 Landmark St. in Culver City just west of National. Cash and checks only.
