A new banner for the blog
You probably noticed the blog got a new banner featuring George Washinton's mug shot from the $1 bill a few weeks ago. The newspaper wanted the blog banners to be consistent and certain things were deemed unseemly, like pictures on banners.
So we had to take down my money mug, which still appears with my bio. George's face popped up without my knowing it - I guess pictures of people are okay as long as they are dead - and it took a while to negotiate and find something a bit more...lively. Same theme, new look. The daily digest will have the new banner, too. I hope you like it.
