Free slurpees at 7-Eleven
This Friday 7-Eleven is celebrating its 81st birthday by giving away three million small slurpees. The free drink is 7.11-ounces and will be available while supplies last.
Assuming every one of 7-Eleven's 5,400 stores in the U.S. participate, that is 555 free slurpees per store. Call to check if they are out before you go.
I went last year and the cup was pretty small, but it was very hot that day and my combo rootbeer-cherry-orange slurpee tasted darn good.

A new 7-11 in Westminster is having a grand opening celebration Friday and Saturday 07/11 and 07/12. I went for the free slurpee and found them also serving free hot dogs, chips, various drinks, donuts, etc. and selling regular unleaded gas for $4.359 per gallon which is cheap for this area. The slurpee was a full 12 oz. size. The station is at Bolsa Chica and Westminster Blvd.
