I finally got around to cracking open the Sunday paper - it's been a busy week, yada, yada, yada - and found the USA Weekend insert had a story on stretching your dollars.

A lot of the Web sites and tips they featured are already familiar to you, my savvy spending friends, but here is one that I had not heard of before.

GardenBargainsOnline is a site run by a woman who loves gardening. She finds weekly deals, coupon codes and highlights sales at garden retailers. One tip currently on her site is for a 20% off sale at BloomingBulbs.com until July 31. The fall flowers on sale are listed here.

You can also get 15% off at Wayside Gardens using code AUG15 at checkout. Wayside is an online catalog of perennials, roses, trees and shrubs. The code expires August 15.
