EktorpArmchair.jpgThe Ikea summer sale is on now through Sunday, July 6. Certain items in the store are marked down 20 to 60%. A chaise armchair, similar to the one above, is $350 (orig $400). A stackable stool is $4 (orig $6) and and desk pads are $7 (orig $10).

If you are one of the first 100 people to arrive at the store Saturday, July 5 you will get a free breakfast (usually $1). Come dressed in bridal clothes and you will be entered into a contest to win Ikea gift cards and tickets to a screening of Mamma Mia! The Movie.

Find an Ikea near you.

An FYI,

Ikea in Burbank has closed their budget priced cafeteria for an extensive renovation.

It is scheduled to re-open by mid to late July.

The cafe on the first floor remains open, with their .50c all beef hot dogs (but not kosher).

Limited breakfast menu at the downstairs cafe, as the cheap (and complete) $1.99 breakfast is served in the now temporarily closed cafeteria.

Not sure what Ikea has planned for breakfast at Burbank, with the cafeteria closed, will it those gooey cinnamon rolls for a $1.00?

Can't wait for the cafeteria to re-open to enjoy the best deal on prime rib without having to go to a casino, $7.99!
