The Bargain Hunter goes national!!
You may have noticed a new link on the top right side of the blog. It says "Bargain Hunter National Edition" and it is meant for readers who hail from outside the San Fernando Valley. Click on that link and you will get all the great deals on the blog, minus ones specific to this corner of Los Angeles.
Now that the blog has a "national edition" I hope you will help me spread the word by sending the Web address - www.insidesocal.com/bargain - to all your friends and family who love to save a buck. I already have readers in Iowa, Pennsylvania, Arkansas and Colorado!
Anyone can sign up for the daily digest by plugging their e-mail into the upper left corner of the blog or by e-mailing me. Thanks!

Wow! Great news! Well, maybe not...does this mean you'll be traveling all over the counry on Singleton's dime reviewing these deals, or on sponsored press junkets? Either way, it's great you're expanding, but a curse if you are responsible to provide deals for ALL of Media Group's newspapers.
It's hard enough to cover, write and validate the deals from many sources, let alone local in the San Fernando valley, let alone see your byline in the likes of the San Bernardino Sun and the Redlands Daily Facts.
You are offering a compelling reason to buy the Daily News, the problem is the paper is getting skinnier and skinnier that other than the crime blotter, you're the best part of the paper....oh...but the good stuff is on-line. Ah, the the battle by newspapers to compete..I mean compliment the web.
You and Nancy Luna from the Orange County Register who covers fast food and some retail have really hit on something here for readers/consuners.
In my belief, you are validating these deals and their true worth through use of the newspapers good (but shrinking) name.
Of course, many of the deals can be found through other web sites, but often times the information is not credible and that is what both of you (plug for Nancy Luna too) are bringing to readers of each respective newspaper. Credible information that I assume has been checked out before posting.
Now, the next step...syndication on the web?
Should I thank Carolina or Dean?
