Upping the ante
Have you mastered walking and chewing gum? Move to the next level with joggling. It's jogging while juggling, and you may see it next time you enter or watch a road race. The sport - if you will call it that - is growing among runners who want an extra challenge, according to the August issue of Runner's World.
A joggler named Michal Kapral from Ontario, Canada set the 10K joggling world record of 36:27 - without a drop - at the Longboat Toronto Island Race. He meets up with his arch rival in an attempt to win back his Guinness Book of World Records marathon joggling title in this CBC video. It really is quite entertaining.

I have done silly things like triathlons to fill my time but joggling seems even more extreme. I mean, at some point you have to ask yourself, why I am pursing something that inherently has no meaning? You are running in circles while throwing balls in circles. Perhaps I being too harsh. Perhaps there is meaning in being the best at...joggling.
