Bon Voyage! I'm off to the wild, wild woods
I'm heading into the forests of Northern California today for a four-day family reunion and some badly needed R&R.
About 40 members of my extended clan will be getting together for games, s'mores and family feuds. I mean, family fun!

You didn't say exactly where in NCal you're going, but having been there many times, I know you'll enjoy being in a gorgeous part of our country. I hope you and Hubby have a fabulous and relaxing time. Family feuds can be lots of fun, if they're played right! I've gotten very good at ticking-off my humorless brother-in-law! Now that's a fun kind of family game. E = )

Are you sure this is a reunion? I think it's a covert trip to meet with Dean to begin the process of establishing your own section each week (for now) in the BANG newspapers. The San Jose Mercury News is so skinny now that you can fill-up their pages too!
During your travels, maybe you'll have a few bargains to share with readers that will dovetail with your column/blog. Hotels, restaurants, tourist spots, a tip from a family member, etc. about another way to save money.
