Spa Week is September 15 to 21 on the West Coast and October 13 to 19 in the Midwest and East Coast. If you don't know about Spa Week, hundreds of spas across the country offer two or three services (their choice) for $50.
It's basically a way to get you in the door and try something new. Treatments may include massages, facials, scrubs, manicures, pedicures, and more exotic options.

Julia, I thought I would check the spa deals for $50 and they won't even let you see the salons or the treatments before you sign in. This is such a scam.
You should at least be able to check the services/salons and then sign up for a treatment/appointment.

I have been booking spa services during spa week for several years and it is not a scam. Just sign in, it costs you nothing and you can view each salon's website and see what they offer in your area before booking. I have saved a lot of money and book several treatments each time spa week comes up.
