Starbucks cheaper for repeat customers

| | Comments (3) |

iced_coffee_starbucks.jpgBuy a Starbucks drink in the morning and get any iced grande beverage for $2 after 2 p.m. That's about $2 off some of the pricier drinks, like a latte. You must present your receipt showing you bought something that morning to get the deal.

The deal goes until September 2, according to an AP story.

Deals may be in the works for customers who use Starbucks cards. The global coffeeshop giant has also been experimenting with specials on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So stay tuned!

Caveats: Limit one drink per receipt. Cannot be combined with any offers or discounts. Not valid at Barnes and Noble Cafes. Find a Starbucks near you. Thanks Nolemon!

If you register your SBUX card, you can get free "modifiers"(free shots of syrup, free soy milk, etc) and free drip coffee refills.

I guess the $2 thing is a little bit of a bargain, but not much.

There should be weekend and evening specials!

I got the coupon, and I didn't think much of it. I gave it away. First of all, I'm not big on iced drinks, and second, I think "free" or "under $1" is a deal. $2, not such a deal.

I don't get it. So really what Starbucks is doing is bringing the price of their ice coffee down to $3 but only if you buy 2 cups a day. Why are so many people in love with what I think is just flavored water. Consumers complain about $4.50 per gallon gas but are willing to pay $32 per gallon for coffee? Give me a break.
