Find the cheapest mailing rate
Want to know the cheapest way to ship a business package or holiday gift? ShipGooder.com figures it out for you. Plug in the starting zip code, the destination zip code, and the weight of your package.
The site spits out a chart of how much it will cost to send the item so it gets there the next day, in two days, three days or ground (1-6 days). Results are sorted within each time frame from cheapest to most expensive.
The site compares rates from UPS, FedDEx, DHL, the US Postal Service, and local couriers. You can also check rates for mailing items in Canada.
If, for instance, I need to mail presents to my family in the Bay Area, Ship Gooder tells me it is cheaper to use FedEx ground than USPS. Cool!
Keep this Web site handy, it will be helpful in the next few weeks. Thanks, Tightwad Tod!

Ohhhh MANY thanks Julia and Tightwad Tod, awesome.
Thanks SO much for this! I used to use iship.com, but then UPS bought them and removed any FedEx rates from the comparison. And now they've removed the feature from their website completely.
So this is wonderful! Sometimes making a box a silly one inch smaller in any dimension can make a big difference in the shipping cost!
