Free meal for veterans

| | Comments (0) |

StuffedSalmon.jpgVeterans can get a free meal on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at participating McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurants across the country. The freebie is part of their annual Veterans Appreciation Event and includes a complimentary entrée from a special menu.

All veterans must show proper identification, including a VA card, discharge papers, VFW card, American Legion card, DD214 or other veterans ID when they are seated.

In the Los Angeles region participating restaurants include the McCormick & Schmick's in Burbank, Pasadena, Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, El Segundo, Irvine, Anaheim, and Santa Ana.

Dozens more across the country are participating, including McCormick & Schmick's in Austin, Baltimore, Berkeley (Spenger's), Chicago, Denver, Las Vegas, Houston, New York, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, San Deigo, Seattle, San Francisco, and many more. Browse the full list here.

Caveats: because the restaurants will be so busy on Sunday, parties of 6 or more may not be seated.
