Mix a drink with supplies on hand

cocktail1.jpgLooking to make a fun holiday drink for an upcoming party but don't want to buy a ton of pricey booze? Check out Cocktailbuilder.com.

Tell the site what alcohol and mixers you have on hand and it tells you what drinks you can make. So instead of rushing out and buying a bunch of alcohol and bizarre mixers you may only use once, you can save money by relying on what you already have.

In the "in my bar" box I typed in a few ingredients, like vodka, lime juice, milk and rum, and the Web site came up with a slew of drinks I could make. If I needed one or more ingredients, the site told me what I was lacking. Cocktail Builder prioritized the drinks by what was most complete.

Click on the "bar menu" tab to printout a menu for your party. Use the "suggest" tab to suggest your own concoction to the site. The site also sells barware under their "shop" tab.
