Starbucks 20% off at Costco

| | Comments (5) |

Starbucksiceddrink.jpgLast week I gushed that you can buy Starbucks gift cards for 90% of their value (10% off) from GiftCardsAgain.com. A $20 card for $18? Sweet!.

Then a friend sent me a note. Psst. Didn't I know that Costco sells $100 Starbucks cards for $80? That's a 20% discount, though you cannot but them online and you do have to be a member, which costs $50 to $100 a year. I would call your local store to double check they stock them.

Costco has discounted gift certificates for many byusinesses, including McCormick & Schmicks, 24 Hour Fitness, and a few spas. More restaurant certs here.

Find a Costco near you. Thanks, Mike!

MORE SPECIFICALLY, I BELIEVE WHAT COSTCO SELLS IS A SET OF FIVE (5) TWENTY DOLLAR ($20) GIFT CARDS FOR A TOTAL OF $80, WHICH IS EVEN BETTER - YOU CAN BREAK THEM DOWN AND GIVE THEM OUT FOR CHRISTMAS GIFTS/TIPS ...

However, the news just mentioned today that with all the business's going out of business, it's much riskier giving gift cards. So buyer beware :)

Karen,
You are totally right. When buying a gift card, definitely think carefully about how viable the retailer is and how quickly the recipient is going to use it.

Costoc also sells Movie tickets for discounted prices, but I'm not sure which theatres. Costco in Simi Valley sells Regal/Edwards tickets 2 for $14.99. I bought 4 at a time and put them in my wallet to use at a later date
